When facing a criminal charge, you need a competent and confident attorney to represent you. Our criminal defense attorneys at The VanNoy Firm are determined to handle even the most challenging cases and navigate the waters when they are rough.

Recently, Attorney VanNoy assisted a Lima man named Willie Harris who faced two felonies for mishandling a weapon in a vehicle and a charge for robbery. The charges originated from accusations in 2018 that Harris broke in and assaulted his ex-girlfriend at her home, stealing her cell phone in the process. Harris received a plea agreement arranged by the court. In this agreement, the court reduced the charges and dropped an extra charge for having a concealed weapon.

Upon this agreement, Harris could be released on bond, and a first-degree aggravated felony was reduced to a burglary charge. Released on specific conditions, Harris was cleared of the more serious felonies and received a reduced sentence. While this complex case was initially not in Harris’s favor, Attorney VanNoy was able to help Harris by lowering the charges and giving him the possibility to be released on bond. VanNoy’s expertise in criminal defense optimized the defendant’s situation.

VanNoy’s determination as an attorney is evident. The VanNoy Firm is confident in our capabilities and abilities to represent our clients, even in challenging cases that many attorneys would turn down. This case serves as an example of the countless instances where VanNoy’s dedication to serving his clients helps him succeed. If you’re in need of a criminal defense lawyer, contact us today.
